The magic of Shenandoah can’t be experienced from behind a windshield… The real magic of Shenandoah is waiting to be discovered in the backcountry on the hundreds of miles of trails and old roads found within the park’s boundaries.

Our Guided Hikes range from 2 to six hours (you choose) and the destinations can range from windswept mountaintops to spectacular waterfalls, from wildflower-filled meadows, to traces of old mountain communities.

All hikes are led by our founder and noted outdoor/wilderness educator, Andy Nichols. Andy is a native son, who has worked around the world. An EMT (wilderness), a passionate teacher and park steward, he is both insured and permitted to guide and teach in Shenandoah.
